Christopher Festival 2027

The Christopher Festival is an international crossover music festival based in Vilnius, Lithuania, bringing together genres, cultures and generations through unexpected musical encounters. Guided by its motto, “More of the World of Music,” the festival believes that music belongs everywhere. Each summer, concerts unfold across some of Vilnius’ most inspiring spaces - from historic churches and intimate courtyards to city parks - turning the city itself into a living concert hall.

Recognised as one of Lithuania’s most distinctive crossover festivals, the Christopher Festival favours curiosity over convention. Classical music meets jazz, world music, contemporary sounds and new forms of performance, while traditional concert formalities give way to openness, discovery and shared experience.

In 2027, the festival explores the theme “Beacons” - artists, ideas and musical traditions that illuminate the way, connect distant worlds and help us see familiar things differently. The programme looks both to those who have become points of reference across generations and to new voices finding their own light. Across genres and cultures, each concert becomes a different kind of beacon: a signal to follow, a meeting point, or simply a light that makes us stop and listen.
