Cistermúsica - Festival de Música de Alcobaça, has been celebrating for more than 25 years the joy and excellence of classical music. One of the oldest and well known classical music festivals in Portugal, it presents novelties each year, which extrapolate the boundaries of tradition without breaking them. Keeping up with the programming of modern premieres, new compositions from Portuguese authors and the promotion of young music talents, the Festival does not forget the educational aim and the different publics. “A classic for all!” is more than a simple moto, it’s a way of putting Cistermúsica together, bringing it to everyone.
