Call for green stories
Take part in the “Go Green, Festivals!” call for stories. As contexts differ from one country to another and from city to city, there is a wealth of practices and experiments to draw inspiration from.
Environmental sustainability has taken centre stage on the agenda of festivals: in the logistics, programming, educational activities, and many other levels. Festivals are in prime position to raise awareness and concern for our natural environment among their team members, partners, and audiences. We are all aware that we play a role in the challenge of our environment, regardless of how complex it may be.
We want to amplify your knowledge, experiences, and efforts, shining a spotlight on them. We aspire to learn from each other and create awareness about the role of arts and culture in addressing societal issues.
This call is open to all festivals with remarkable stories, insights, experiments, and lessons learned from their endeavours in tackling sustainability challenges. We encourage you to share your experiences and contribute to this collective effort.
We encourage all arts festivals, from the biggest to the most intimate, to send us stories (between 200 and 300 words) and promotional material (pictures, video, podcasts, links, etc.) before 15 November 2023. If your festival is not registered on FestivalFinder.eu yet, please register here.
Get to your keyboards and send us your stories now! We can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to and share it with festivals, decision-makers, and audiences worldwide.
The call is part of European Festivals Association's (EFA) 70-Years-On Agenda.
