Kids-friendly music festivals
As the World Music Day, 21 June, is celebrated everywhere, you start looking at festivals’ dates and think “I wish I could go but I can’t with my kids…”. Well, you shouldn’t! Many festivals include the whole family in their programme, organising activities for all ages. So come together and you will have just as much fun as your kids will!
Puistoblues (The Lakeside blues festival)

Along with an incredible blues music programme, Puistoblues, one of the biggest blues events in Europe, is also one of Finland's biggest family festivals. One of the highlights of the Blues Week is Kakarablues, which has been organised for over 30 years and offers a wide range of activities for the youngest members of the family. There will be musical performances for children, face painting, theatre, and the famous guitar workshop at the main concert on Saturday.

Music Diaries International Workshop Festival

Bringing together artist and researchers to create opportunities to combine their knowledge for mutual benefit, the Music Diaries International Workshop Festival offers workshops for children to hone their ears as young listeners. Experimentations, concerts, questioning… In 3 day-time, they will become little experts of the sound.

Opus Pocus #10

Every year, in August, on Reunion Island, the Opus Pocus festival focuses on a musical instrument and offers to the wider public to (re)discover it in a programme of concerts of various musical styles. This year is percussions’ year! On this occasion, the festival will host workshops and young audience shows, in addition to master classes, jam sessions, exhibitions and documentary film screenings.
