Let's celebrate Swiss festivals!

Anaïz Dessartre - 31 Jul 2020

The 1st of August is Switzerland’s National Day. It celebrates the founding of the Swiss Confederacy and is a national holiday. Other than the traditional Rhine Falls big fireworks, which can be seen yearly on this special date, a number of Swiss festivals are taking place this year. We take the opportunity to highlight them, in chronological order, and they can also be found through our FestivalFinder.eu.

Festival Belluard Bollwerk International

On its 37th edition, the contemporary arts Festival Belluard Bollwerk International decided to go nomadic due to current restrictions to its usual set-up. Therefore, many places in Switzerland (and potentially abroad) will receive its events, with the next one scheduled for October 10th in Düdingen presenting musical artists Reymour (a duo by Lou Savary and Luc Bersier), MIAW and Sativayiza.
