[Go Green] RisorgiMarche
12 July - 31 August 2025
Grottazzolina, Italy
RisorgiMarche is a music festival rooted in ecological values and solidarity, created to support communities affected by the 2016 earthquakes in the Marche region.

RisorgiMarche is not a typical music festival. It is a carefully designed act of environmental and social regeneration. Created in response to the 2016 earthquakes in central Italy, it reimagines what it means to gather, to listen and to rebuild. Set in the wild landscapes of the Sibillini Mountains, each concert is a shared journey. There are no stages, no artificial lights and no barriers. Audiences arrive on foot or by bicycle, encountering music only after walking through the land and experiencing its rhythm firsthand. Sustainability is at the core of RisorgiMarche. From plastic-free operations and zero printed materials to inclusive mobility and locally sourced, compostable catering, the festival models a circular and conscious approach to cultural production.
What begins as a concert becomes a ritual of care. It nurtures the environment, strengthens community ties and supports regional economies recovering from crisis. With over 350.000 participants since 2017 and a network of partnerships supporting accessibility and solidarity, RisorgiMarche has grown into a platform for slow, thoughtful engagement. It bridges music, nature and participation, inviting each visitor not just to attend but to belong. Its unique format and lasting impact have earned national recognition, including awards for cultural sustainability and environmental excellence such as Premio CulturaInVerde, Premio Anima and Bandiera Verde. In doing so, RisorgiMarche offers a powerful blueprint for what green festivals can be: collective, rooted and transformative.
