On 17 May, we celebrate Norway. This day is a celebration of the Norwegian Constitution, which was signed in Eidsvoll on 17 May 1814.

The Bergen International Festival in Bergen, Norway, presents art in all its guises: Music, theatre, dance, opera and visual art. It is the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries.

For almost seven decades, the Festival has celebrated and rattled the city for a fortnight of hundreds of events, where the best artists from Norway and abroad perform. The 2021 festival will take place from 26 May to 09 June, and will offer the opportunity to stream events from home, as well as traditional tickets to the venues.

The Førde Traditional and World Music Festival is the largest festival for trad and world music in Scandinavia, presenting about 90 acts from 30 venues and 300 artists from all over the world for 25-30 000 visitors each year. In addition, we arrange concerts and other events during the year.

The festival programme is of great variety, with concerts, workshops, exhi­biti­ons, children’s events, dance evenings etc. Plus different kinds of projects during the festival week and throughout the year.

Vill Vill Vest is a music festival showcasing Norwegian artists at Bergen's most established venues. During the festival, the city of Bergen is transformed into one huge concert venue where you can discover your new favorite artist and enjoy excellent live music. The city on the Western coast of Norway is known for its thriving music scene, and home for internationally acknowledged artists. In addition to the showcase line-up, the music organisation Brak presents an extensive conference programme, inviting both national and international participants to debates, talks and seminars.
