Launch of EFFE Label 2026-2027

FestivalFinder.eu is our joint tool to reach festival lovers worldwide. It aims to be the most up-to-date, insightful, and complete searchable database of festivals in Europe and beyond, including 45 countries.

We are reaching the end of the year: Time for you to update your festival's information with your next edition and programme (check our help page for support).

What you are doing is important: Festivals are platforms to experiment; show the work of talented emerging artists; bring arts and culture to cities, villages and remote areas; build strong relations with local and international audiences, and much more. EFA keeps on investing in FestivalFinder.eu and the continuation of EFFE - Europe for Festivals, Festival for Europe.

In the upcoming years, EFA commits to continuing to highlight your festivals in Zoom-in articles, offering your narratives to audiences through specific storytelling calls and collecting data on the festival sector.

If you want to take a more active role in EFA's activities, you can:

• Become an EFA member: Take advantage of our Team up! campaign and join EFA for a lower membership fee by being co-opted by an actual EFA Member.
  
• Invite your cities and regions to sign the EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions: 33 cities hold the EFFE Seal so far and more will join during the Arts Festivals Summit in Budva, Montenegro (16-19 May 2026). It is a recognition and an invitation to cities and regions that wish to associate and integrate their development and image with a strong festival, cultural - and European - commitment. • Apply to the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA Call#4 and benefit from one of the 50 grants to support an emerging artist through a residency. The Call is open until 3 November 2025.
• Find festivals to partner with on topics and add topics to your upcoming festival editions on FestivalFinder.eu. Topics include: Environmental Sustainability, Youth, Arts & Politics, Well-Being, Digital & AI, Migration, and many others.
• Share your stories with audiences through FestivalFinder.eu: Up to Green puts festivals' environmentally friendly best practices in the spotlight. Count me in! focuses on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility and Belonging in the seat of arts festivals.
• Spread the word and tell your festival friends to sign up on FestivalFinder.eu, apply for the EFFE Label, and invite them to the above points.
