“Count me in!” stories online
“Count me in!” is all about sharing stories that highlight diversity, equality, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging in the seat of art festivals.
Aligned with our 70-Years-On Agenda, EFA launched the DEIAB campaign “Count me in!” to elevate awareness, highlight the knowledge, best practices and pioneering efforts of festivals committed to advancing equity and inclusion and also identify gaps and challenges of why the topic is (or is not yet) at the core of festivals’ daily business.
EFA was accompanied in this process by Ceyda Berk-Söderblom – arts manager, curator and festival programmer specialising in social inclusion, diversity and inclusion management.
The campaign included a survey and a call for stories that was open from 17 September to 11 November 2024. We have received many stories and started to spotlight them on FestivalFinder.eu.
You can find here below the “Count me in!” stories that have been published so far. More will follow in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned!
